King Tutankhamun

Call me ignorant or oblivious but the first time I’ve heard about King Tutankhamun was about 4 months ago when I came across the book The Murder of King Tut by James Patterson.

Although the book is a fiction book but the amount of research that the author went into writing this book was very palpable. I’m not a fan of History, ancient stuff and I read this book only because I did not have any other book to read at that time. But the more I read of this book, the more fascinated I became about this famous pharaoh.

King Tut became pharaoh at the age of around 8 or 9 years old and he reigned for about 10 years when he died suddenly at the age of 19. His death has cause a lot of debates and it is still a mystery unsolved or will never be solved.

King Tut was married to his half-sister Ankhesenepatan where they both had two stillborn daughters. And it is believed that King Tut was the result of incestuous relationship of Akhenaten and one of Akhenaten’s sisters. That’s why some believe that King Tut might have suffered from genetic defect that ended his life at such an early age. And some research shows that King Tut might have also suffered cleft palate and scoliosis and they also found cane in his tomb where King Tut used it in order for him to walk.

The most popular theory is that King Tut was being murdered by Aye who was a Vizier since King Tut’s father, Akhenaten was ruling Egypt. Akhenaten brought a major changed in Egypt when he enforced monotheistic where for the past hundreds of years Egyptians have been worshipping so many different gods. This change might be hostile as it contradicts with the common practice of religions in Egypt. And when Akhenaten died and passed down the throne to King Tut when he was still a child, would only mean catastrophe. So all major decisions would probably be made or suggested by Aye and Horemheb. After the death of King Tut, Aye became pharaoh and he married Ankhesenepatan, wife of King Tut.

From the book The Murder of King Tut, it is written that Aye forced Ankhesenepatan to married him so that he can be the next pharaoh. Ankhesenepatan did ask for help from the Hitties who were enemies of Egypt at that time. She sent a plea to the Hittie’s King saying

"My husband has died and I have no son. They say about you that you have many sons You might give me one of your sons to become my husband. I would not wish to take one of my subjects as a husband... I am afraid."

The ‘subjects’ that she mentioned was speculated to be Aye. But in the end Aye became pharaoh and Ankhesenepatan was married to him. But the queen died shortly after he was married to Aye.

I have totally forgotten about this King Tut and then I read the news today that says ‘Seven tombs in New Kingdom Cemetery open’. These tombs belong to several men who served King Tut and his father, Akhenaten.

Aye ruled as a pharaoh for 4 years and guess who became the next pharaoh. It was Horemheb! He was a commoner who became Commander-in-Chief of the Army, and advisor to the King Tut. What is more surprising is that when King Tut died, Horemheb was designated as ‘Crown Prince’ meaning Horemheb was the heir to King Tut’s throne. But Aye using whatever tactic he had and he himself succeeded King Tut. So when Horemheb became pharaoh, he desecrated Aye’s tomb and smashed his sarcophagus into pieces!

This book surely doesn’t seem like a fiction book. Is almost like ‘watching’ a drama but with proven evidence everywhere. I usually thought that this kind of fights for the throne that we always saw in movies is mostly made up. But this definitely surpasses my expectations on a lot of things. And one that I’m certain is this --> ‘Do not judge a book by its cover!’

The Golden Mask of King Tut

I have this never ending undescribable pain and shocked in me for these past 3 days.
On the 7th January, 8.30am i've received a text from my friend, but that time i was sleeping, so when my phone rang i did what i always did when i'm still sleepin--i silenced my phone without reading the text.
Then at 12.30pm, another text was sent to me, and once again i tried to silenced it cos i was still sleepin! but i accidentally press on the 'View' message button.
The moment i read the content of the message, i was jolted up from my bed.
My primary classmates whom i've known for 14 years has passed away in an accident.
The news was beyond shocking to me.
This is the second time i'm getting this kind of news thru phone.
One is from my sister saying one of my church member's passed away because of cancer.
And now this, someone that is close to me......
I quickly fall back down to sleep all the while saying to myself 'i'm dreaming..i'm dreaming...' while i clutched on to my phone..
For the rest of the day, i still cannot accept the fact of his death.
I went on to Facebook, and see all those posts people are posting on his walls..
yet i still cannot accept it..
My mum found the news of his accident on the Chinese news site and they posted the wreckage of his car.
It was really terrible.
My mum even read the news for me cos i can't read chinese, and the moment she said his name in chinese, my heart just stopped beating.
I'm like NO...this is not happening.
Gosh...why did this have to happen..
We were all supposed to have our annual gathering the very next day.
It was supposed to be a joyous day for us...
We were supposed to meet up....we were supposed to still see each other...
The pain didn't started to feel real til the next day.
For the whole day, i felt so stuffed, suffocated...
is getting harder to breathe with every passing moment.
My friends and I decided to go pay last respect to him on that day, the day where all of us was supposed to meet up and have our gathering.
Instead of going out together for steamboat, we are now goin to his funeral..
When we reached the funeral parlour, i tried not to look at the place where his coffin is placed.
I tried to avoid looking at the picture placed in front of his coffin.
Then all of us walked in and once i stepped up to the place where we were to place the joss stick, the moment i saw his picture in front of his coffin, i started crying..
Crying cos he left so suddenly..crying cos he was not supposed to leave without us seeing each other...crying because he was a friend of mine.....
And when we walked up to his coffin where we can see his face, i cried even more...
I saw half of his face then i have to walked away...I can't bear to watched any longer...
It was so painful to see someone you knew lying there.
It was so so so sad....
Today was his cremation...
From the day i knew about his death, i can't look at his picture...
Because i cannot believe he is gone....
I cannot believe it....

Rest In Peace my dear friend....
May we meet again some day......
And i really really miss you..........

i decided to not wear my nail so 'strikingly' to class, that's why i changed them to a nude polish.(didn't took any picture tho) i wore Elf's Desert Haze and i love that colour..=)

Here are the manis i did for the last few weeks.
i've been really busy these few weeks. i'm actually taking this short course SAP - Sales and Distribution.
My classes is from Mon-Fri, and Sat is optional but because i thought if i were to attend on Sat, i can end the course earlier.
BUT,my coursemate told me whether you come on Sat or not, you will still end the course on the 24th December!!!!!
Dang...so from now on, i won't be going on Sat!!!!lol...
i think this period is where i've been studying the most in my life.
Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, we're just reading,listening to the narration and doing exercises.
The fun part of this course is that we have this application called 'Ask The Expert' where we post any problems we faced with the exercises or if we need further clarification and we will get the answers from the SAP expert in India within 24 hours.
I have my personal expert sitting next to me, so i usually ask him and if both of us are having the same problems and we can't solve it then only we'll go 'Ask The Expert'.
My personal expert is someone that has experienced in SAP, so is convenient to have someone that can diagnose the problems on the spot instead of having to wait for the 'real experts' from India!!haha

i think another reason i don't like NY is i've been to too many museums!lol
but anyhow, my fave places in NY is Times Square!!especially the TKTS booth (the red stairs)=D

USA Grad Trip Part 3 - Boston

The third stop of my trip is Boston.
my relatives stays here and it is also one of the main reason we went to US; to visit my grandaunt.
They used to come down to Penang and visit us but since my grandaunt's health is not suitable for her to take long hour flights, we haven't seen each other for almost 10 years.
The places that we went includes Museum of Science, Freedom Trail, Quincy Market, Chinatown, MIT, Cambridge Parkway, Boston Public Library, Trinity Church, New England Aquarium (that's all i can think of).....

USA Grad Trip Part 2 - Las Vegas

so i was in US for my graduation trip and we flew from Penang-Hong Kong, and from Hong Kong-SFO.
we stayed in SFO for 3 days, then we're off to Las Vegas.
the MAIN purpose i want to go to Vegas is because of JABBAWOCKEEZ.
so when we booked the ticket, Jabba does not have any shows going on at that time.
they have just ended their shows at MGM and there's no announcement of their next show.
so a week after i've booked the ticket, guess what??
yes, they announced they are gonna have shows at Monte Carlo on the 7th October which is the exact day i'm leaving Vegas for Boston!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i just froze when i read the email!
because we can't change the ticket, so that means i won't be able to watch their show!!!
sighhhhhh...................................
i remember on the 7th October, i was like 'Oh god..the Jabbas are here in Vegas, and i'm right here in vegas as well!!!so near yet so far....sob sob sob'
and it goes on and on for the whole day, even when i'm at the airport.

Anyway, what's over is over.
Vegas.
Vegas is really fun and even though adults will like it more but i think this is my 2nd fave place after SFO.
to quote Chris from Jabba 'Vegas, the city of sin!' hahaha
i like Vegas more than i like New York.
if i were to come to the States again, i'll definitely be coming to Vegas again.
but i'll skip the Grand Canyon or maybe if i really want to go, i'll take the helicopter tour.
and another thing i like about Vegas is the outlet.
it has so many brands and although is smaller than the outlet in SFO, the shops are close to each other and is easier to walk around.

USA Grad Trip Part 1 - San Francisco

my 5 weeks trip to US has ended and the moment my sis dropped us off at SFO airport, i'm already missing US.
i missed the weather, the people, the environment, the places i've visited, my sis's apartment, the goodies, the COFFEE!!!! and well just everything about US.
everything fascinates me and even though there's a lot of walking especially in Las Vegas and New York to the point where it keeps you awake at night because of the unbearable pain but i still love it!!
SFO is so much more relaxing, comfortable because my sis is staying in a serviced apartment and is 2 blocks away from AT&T Park which is the home of Giants, the world series champion of 2010.
On the days where there's game going on, all the Giants' supporters will flocked the place.
My sis hates game day cos that means traffic jam.
I still remember the last match of the world series, we were out for dinner and once we came out from the restuarant, we could ppl shouting and we knew the Giants has won.
The way back home that usually takes 5 mins to reached has been delayed to 40 mins.
But i like it cos alllll these Giants supporters are running around, shouting, waving and these cars kept honking and they even decorated their cars.
Once we reached home, me n my sis went down and walked to At&T Park and tho the game has ended like 2 hours ago, there's still a lot of ppl celebrating.
It was like New Year!!!hahaha

we decided to ride a bicycle to the Golden Gate Bridge.
We started at Fisherman's Wharf and it was freaking tiresome, by the end of the day i can't feel my leg at all!!!!
luckily it wasn't very hot nor was it very cold.
it was the perfect weather for the ride.
all in all, it was really fun.

911 Of 2010

Today, 911, is my eldest sis's bday...
she is XX years old now(lol...she doesn't want ppl to know her age,but who cares...hahah)
so we went to Babylon Beach Blanket.
it was my 2nd visit there.
i love the surrounding there...
the sound of the waves is just so calming....
the musics they played was just the perfect one to suit the whole feel of that place...
it was very very relaxing and we love the Happy Hour's drinks..=)
and the happiest thing on this very day is that i've finally got my very first digital camera!!!
i bought Canon Digital Ixus 120IS...at first i wanted to buy 95IS but because there's only blue colour left and i don't really like that colour.
then i saw this 120IS, black matte in colour and i just love it!!
so i ended up buying this 120IS!!=))
if it wasn't for my upcoming US trip, i don't think i will be buying any camera but well, i'm sure it will definitely paid off...
so let's just pray i can capture every moment of my 1st US trip!!!=))

so these are my nails for the past 2 or 3 weeks.....

i shouldn't have put the heart shaped rhinestones on cos is so difficult to see as the base colour is already pink....

my 'leopard' mani...i like this but i duno why the longer i look at it, the faker and weirder it looks...
but if i just glance through it, it looks perfect...=)

anyway, this coming 1st October my mum, eldest sis, grandma and me are going to the States!!!
i'm very very excited and gosh, i can't wait to buy allllllll the nail polishes i can find (OPI, China Glaze, Orly, Essie, ELF, Zoya,........a lot moreeee)

we've already planned to go to Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Boston, NYC, Niagara Falls, Washington, and SFO is where my sister is staying right now...
so we will definitely be going to Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, some winery tasting.....
any specific place i should go?please suggest me some 'must-go-places'...
my sis is the one searching all the hot spots, and i'm just tagging along...i'm too lazy to go search..=)

NOTW and My Birthday..

i've been MIA for almost a month now...
anyway to cut long story short, i did my nails for my 23rd Birthday which is on the 28th July...
the day before my bday, my primary schoolmates celebrated my bday with me...
they wanted to surprise me but unfortunately 2 of them wishes me even tho it wasn't time yet.
and so i knew that the dinner was for my bday celebration...=)
anyway, i'm happy and thankful for these wonderful ppl who celebrated with me even tho they still need to go to work the next day..

bought 5 packs of Etude House nail accessories
it was on Sale!70% discount...=)

on my bday, i went out and have dinner with my family.
i didn't want anything fancy and i definitely doesn't want any cake, so we went to Soho!!
i love this place's Guiness Draught beer, it is one of the best beer in Penang!!!=)
the food there is really good and is very cheap...

My very first OPI's nail polish!!and is my fave...Jade Is The New Black.
i've been nagging my sis who's currently in San Francisco to find this for me and she always does what she's best at that is, ignoring me!!!@_@
luckily i have my eldest sister who got addicted to this color when i showed it to her!!
and hence, my first OPI!!!=))

it looked kinda plain so i added some stripes on it...eheh

my convocation is on this coming Monday but sadly i don't think anybody will be coming
cos it is in KL, then friends who are in KL got classes in the morning so they can't come...
so sad....no one is coming for my convo..............
i'm gonna cry...

i tried to paint my nails like the one above...
i've applied dark pink as the base, and did the black french tips, added the white polka dots
BUT....i reallllly dislike it..it looks weird...??!!
so i redo my nails again...
going thru my nails mags, searching online, blogs and finally i came across i love nail polish. . . with her sailor themes nails and i love it...
i remember Katrina did the sailor theme mani as well>> here

so by referring these two blogs, i did mine...
and obviously, i copied Katrina's!!=)) hope u don't mind..=D

well, i'll be going on a trip with my friends this coming saturday!!!
i can't wait for that trip...

For the past week, i've been busy working my part time job.

well, i didn't get to online last 2 days cos of the internet problem
i've been calling them everyday to make sure i get my internet back!!!
and finally, today the line is back to normal.
everyone in my family is not getting use to not being able to go online, even my mum!!(who keeps on nagging me whenever i'm in front of the computer/laptop)ha...now she got addicted to it as well..
i spent these 2 days, reading the books, and i can't say i didnt enjoy it.
i think is better when i don't have any other distraction while i'm reading.
so anyway, the first thing i do is to check my facebook, and my blog

I was watching Portugal Vs North Korea just now and that was one of the most interesting matches i've watched!!!
me n my family was shouting and cheering like mad (more like me shouting more =D)whenever Portugal scored..
like seriously,to scored 1 goal is really difficult, but 7 freakin goals???!!!!
they are crazy..and the North Korean's defense and passing was really horrible...
i sympathize them...they look as if they've lost their soul when Portugal scored the 3rd goal...
what more when they scored the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th!!!!!

even Ronaldo doesn't believe what he did when he scored this goal!!!

92' of the game being cut short to this 7 fantastic goals!!enjoy peeps..

i actually went to Etude House and tried their new French Art nail Polish
that's where i started this Zebra stripes.
but because the tip's too broad for me to be using it as nail art, i did not buy it.
so i went back home and found this white Sally Hansen's French Manicure that my sis bought
and i used that to draw the stripes..

well, i'm officially done and over with UKM as off today, 14th June 2010.
i've finished my very last exam in my university's life!!
i had IBM DBA test this morning and thank God, i've passed!!!!!
at first i didn't have the heart to study, there's just so much to study...
but then i told myself, if i failed this exam (even tho is sponsored fully by the government) my extra 1 month spent here is gonna go down the drain!!
and i can't afford that...
so of cos, i've studied from 11pm up til 3 am...
And, i'm done with that!!!!yaaaay!!!
right after the test, my friends n i went to Redbox at The Gardens to have our very last karaoke session together..
it was fun of cos...i'm gonna miss my Ah Kham so much...
she's the one that's with me, enduring all these difficult times in this horrible university for 3 years...
well, she's the one that i'm gonna be missing the most.
the one that i can say i'm glad i got into UKM.(i hated every other thing about here!)
so anyway, enough with that...
the first thing i'm gonna do when i get back home in penang is read all the books that i didn't get to read when i bought them at the Popular sale in Midlands >> here!!

i've also found a few books that has been released and is gonna be release soon..

FIRST is The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephenie Meyer

NEXT is The Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins.
I've already owned and read the first and second book which is The Hunger Games and Catching Fire.
I think this book is more suitable for younger adults or teenagers i should say, but i've already started on this and i've gotta keep reading!!
cause at the end of the 2nd book,Catching Fire, there's this huge cliffhanger!!!
i need to know what happen next which is of cos gonna be continued in book 3 ---> Mockingjay which is gonna be released this coming 24th August!!

NEXT is Veronika Decides To Die by Paulo Coelho.
I've actually wanted to buy this after i've read The Alchemist by the same author but i didn't.
now that i've read so many good reviews (and also the amount of free time i'm gonna be having when i get back home..=D) i'm gonna go get this book!!

LASTLY, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.
again, all the good reviews about this book , the uniqueness of the story and just basically the plot of the story.

well i'm taking this short course where i will be in the lab from 9am til 6pm.
the best thing to do is playing facebook's games and also, of course download stuff...
the speed is incredible...i love downloading stuff at my fac's lab.
been downloading videos (Glee, Supernatural, American Idol, The City,1N2D) non stop and what usually took me 2 days to download at home, i can finish dl them like 2 hours in the lab!!

so the current anime i am watching is Kaichou wa Maid-sama.
I've found a few more anime from the same website where i get my Kaichou wa Maid-sama.
I am now watching Durarara. I am at Ep.3 now. They have already released 20 episode up to now.
and well, i like this anime. It has a really nice and interesting plot and the characters are fun to watch.

so here's the plot summary :

Plot Summary: Ryuugamine Mikado is a boy who longs for the exciting life of the big city. At the invitation of his childhood friend Masaomi, he transfers to a school in Ikebukuro. Masaomi has warned him about people he doesn't want to cross in the city: a champion fighter, an informant, and a mysterious gang called "Dollars." Nervous from Masaomi's stories, Mikado witnesses an urban legend on his first day in the city, the Headless Rider astride a black motorcycle. Haven't started watching this cos i'm watching Durarara.
I might watch this later when i'm done watching the next epidsode of Durarara.

I've read the storyline and is kinda interesting,therefore i dl them..haven't watch yet but will start once i've done watching the 1st 2 anime above!!!

one last week of me being an UKM student. and i'm very very very excited to leave this place.
was supposed to say goodbye to UKM on the 29th April but because we were supposed to take a short course sponsored by the government so i'll have to stay here til 18th June!!!!damn
FINE!!!i'll just endure that 1 n a half more months here and then i can finally and officially leave here for good!!

Kaichou wa Maid-sama

well, Kimi Ni Todoke's has finally ended.
Since that's my fave anime and now that it has ended, i have to find another new anime to watch.
Hence, Kaichou wa Maid-sama is my choice!
Animax channel is airing this anime as well, but since i won't be here every week to watch it, i'm gonna of course download it.
i've read the manga but stopped reading it halfway.
now that it is out in anime, i'm gonna watch instead of reading the manga then..
just saw the 1st episode and is pretty good.
Animax is gonna air the 1st epi this coming Thur (08/04/10) at 8.30pm.

Earth Hour @ Esplanade

Whenever i'm back at home and i started watching channel 715 (Animax channel), my mum will say "How old are you now.??stil watching CARTOON??"
and my reply "It's NOT CARTOON. Is Anime!!!there's a big difference between cartoon and anime!!"
and so i will ignore them and continue watching that channel!!!
well the first anime i've watched is Dragon Ball..that was when i was 10 yrs old i think...
i remember watching it with my cousins. Every weekend we'll rent the tape n watch it together..
i stil remember i really like the guy with the purple hair, but i dun remember his name now..

the second anime that i've watched and really love is Slam Dunk!!
i think this is by far the best basketball-related anime ever..
because of watching this anime, i really wanted to learn n play basketball!!

the next anime i've watched is Ouran High School Host Club.
i started watching this back in 2006 i think..
this anime is really cute and i have the whole season in my external hd..

Plot :Haruhi is a poor tomboyish student at a school for the ultra-wealthy, able to attend because of a scholarship, and unable to even afford a uniform. One day, she stumbles across the decidedly peculiar but very popular Ouran Host Club. She tries to leave, but accidentally breaks a vase, and unable to pay for it, she's told that she'll have to stay and do odd jobs. That is, until they decide she would be more valuable as a club member. Not realizing she's female due to her appearance, they fix her up and give her a male uniform. She's an instant hit, so they decide to have her keep up the charade even after they find out the truth. Haruhi, being average almost to a fault, doesn't know what to make of the unconventional activities of the Host Club (or of the even more unconventional members), but having little choice, she plays along. Before long, real bonds are formed, friends made, and Haruhi finds herself accepted in a way she could never have been otherwise in this affluent school.

this anime is super cute and hilarious!!
seriously, Morita is super cute in this...
i have the whole season 1 n 2.
and i love the drawing, the character, the dreamy fell in the anime..

Plot :Takemoto Yuuta, Mayama Takumi, and Morita Shinobu are college students who share the small apartment. Even though they live in poverty, the three of them are able to obtain pleasure through small things in life. The story follows these characters' life stories as poor college students, as well as their love lives when a short but talented 18 year old girl called Hanamoto Hagumi appears.

Bokura ga ita is another anime that i've watched...
is not really one of my faves but stil i like it cos i watched it!!:)
is a sad love story...

Plot :Nanami Takahashi, a 15 year old high school student, falls in love with and begins dating the most popular guy in school, Yano Motoharu. However, their relationship is not easily maintainable. Yano's past, as well as the complex emotions they bring up, make it difficult to be completely honest about how he feels. Caught in the middle are Yuri Yamamoto, the younger sister of Yano's now dead ex-girlfriend, and Takeuchi Masafumi, Yano's best friend. Yuri's past with Yano goes deeper than one might suspect and her feelings run deeper than she portrays in public. Takeuchi cherishes Yano's friendship, but at the same time, he may lose it for someone dear to him. Nanami must search deep inside herself and find her true feelings for Yano while being able to trust and accept Yano's feelings for her as well, deciding if Yano is indeed the one for her or if someone else can provide better solace. Along the way Nanami will get tips from her love infatuated friends, Mizu and Taka.

Next is Vampire Knight!!!
the manga is super duper cool..
the main character are drawn so handsomely!!!lol..
but the drawing in the anime is really different from the one in the manga..
seriously i find that the manga are way better than anime...sigh..
i was really anticipating for this anime but i'm really disappointed with the it..

Plot :Yuki's earliest memory is of a stormy night in winter, where she was attacked by a vampire... And then rescued by another. Now 10 years later, Yuki Cross, the adopted daughter of the headmaster of Cross Academy, has grown up and become a guardian of the vampire race, protecting her savior, Kaname, from discovery as he leads a group of vampires at the elite boarding school. But also at her side is Zero Kiryu, a childhood friend who’s hatred for the creatures that destroyed everything he held dear, is now determined never to trust them. This coexisting arrangement seems all well and good, but have the vampires truly renounced their murderous ways, or is there a darker truth behind their actions. Is Kaname's infatuation with Yuki the beginning of a forbidden romance, or is it something in her forgotten past that draws him to her? Because in this world of secrets, nothing is as it seems. Then is Paradise Kiss.
i saw this on Animax, but i couldn't catch up with the whole series.
and i couldn't find it online....so sad...

Plot :Yukari is a typical high-school student who listens to her parents and attends school everyday. As she starts to question her way of life, she encounters a group of fashion design students who has a clothing label known as "Paradise Kiss". The group needs to find a model to showcase their designs in an up-coming fashion show and decides to pick Yukari instead. Initially, Yukari was reluctant to be associated with this seemingly eccentric group, but eventually, she realises that they are really nice people. Furthermore, their passion and enthusiasm to follow their ideals and dreams make Yukari realise that she has not been enjoying her life and this motivated her to pursue her own dreams.

Then comes Death Note.
i really love this anime (the beginning)..but after L die, is just so painful to watch the kid/the successor of L...
he is so damn irritating that i ended up not watching the rest of it!!
oh yea the name is M...so stupid..
i even asked my sis to buy the Death Note book for me!!!
luckily she didn't buy it tho!!lol

Plot :Yagami Light is an ace student with great prospects, who's bored out of his mind. One day he finds the "Death Note": a notebook from the realm of the Death Gods, with the power to kill people in any way he desires. Kimi Ni Todoke a.k.a Reaching You
i've been following the manga ever since it was being translated and til now, the manga is being translated to Vol 09 Chapter 39 and is real ADDICTING!!!
the suspense, the shock, the ending of each chapter is definitely a cliffhanger!!!
i love the drawing of the characters in this..
the anime is really similar to the drawing in manga.
not like Vampire Knight where the character's figure is so different from the one in the manga.
the anime is now at Episode 22 and is really really addicting!!!

Plot :Sawako Kuronuma, called Sadako by her classmates for her resemblance to the character from Ring, has always been feared and misunderstood because of her appearance. There are rumors that Sawako can see ghosts and curse people. But when her idol, popular boy Kazehaya, begins talking with her, everything changes. i'm having my mid sem for Design and Analysis of Algorithms today..
i have 3 paper continuously n today's the last paper of it all!!!
i'm so gonna fail this paper...
i don't understand what it is talking about..
and all those crazy ridiculous formulas!!!

in about 3 hours,i'm gonna have my last fight for the semester..
then i'm gonna build my system and show it to my supervisor this tuesday and i haven't started anything at all!!!

lol...if u're wondering the title of this post is in cantonese...
sigh..mou keng mou him, i'm in my 3rd week of internship at Bosch..
i'm happy that i get to work in this huge company but i really have nothing to do at all...
for 3 weeks i'm doing nothing and i'm real damn freaking extremely BORED!!!and is driving me crazy.
plus i have to wake up at 6 every day...n get out of my hse by 6.45 n reach there around 7.20.
luckily it wasn't me who's drivin!!!hehehe..my dad fetched me there everyday n i took the company bus (bus kilang!!!) bk home....hahaha..
anyway a lot has been going on in my mind recently.
things that i dunno how to say it out.so..god why am i even writing this.
just ignore me...i'm not sober!!!muhahahahaha...
i'm going to Laut Angin with my sis later!!!lolololol...

Internship

the process of me getting my intern is such a pain in the @ss!!
i've applied to every company in penang but there's no reply from them..
a few did replied saying they are not taking in any intern at the moment..
and so i ended up applying for companies in selangor, puchong.
a company in puchong accepted me and i'm kinda reluctant to accept it cos i WANA WORK IN PENANG!!!
if it's for 2 months then i don't mind taking that company in puchong but for 5 months!!!!
anyhow i had a coursemate who got the same company that accepted me, and he owns a car so he can fetch me there and all that...
he started to hunt for rooms and he told me to not change my mind suddenly, and confirmed that i'll be working in puchong. i said yes yes yes..confirmed working there...

then on friday, Robert Bosch, a factory in penang called me and said they are offering me to work as an intern there.
i went to the comapny and signed the offer letter the same day as well...
so yeah!!!!

i was supposed to be moving to my new roon and because UKM being the stupidest uni in the world, the office ppl dun let me change room til tmr!!!!@#$%$^*&!@!#
i have almost done packaging my stuff n they tell me tmr only can transfer room!!!arghh....
so i went back room, did a lil facebook-ing and watch some videos that i've dlded.
then i remembered i've dlded a few movies and i haven't watch them yet, so i ended up watching '10 Promises To My Dog'
omggggggggg..that movie........it made me cry like mad!!!!
seriously, i've never cried that hard watching movie (oh yea there's one -> Pearl Harbour!!!lol)..but this movie omg....
to those who haven't watch it GO WATCH IT NOW!!!!!
i really wanted to go home now and spend more time with my Fluffy!!!(altho he's a real bad, naughty dog but what to do, he's my doggie!!!!)

tmr's my badminton paper..
i've used an hour to memorize everything..actually there's really nothing much to study on.
and so i spent the last 2 days watching The Golden Path which is showing on AEC right now.
i've no idea which episode is on right now, i get to watch it whn i went back home for my study week.
my friend gave me the series long before and i haven't had the time to watch it and after watching it on AEC, i think that's a really nice series and so i decided to finish them up!!!lol
2 days , 30 episodes!!!i've finished watching it!!!hahah
is a really nice and exciting drama.
and again i'm not good at reviewing, so u gotta watch it urself to know what's the storyline all about..

yeah i'm back in kl rite now..in fact i just reached around 3 something..
the past few days at home, i was revising Graphic and Artificial Intelligence which is my 1st paper tmr!!!
besides revising those two courses, i also managed to 'revise' Where Rainbow Ends' by Cecelia Ahern!!lol

it was a nice, good book...

i'm back home!!!!!
so right after i reached pg, me n my family went to queensbay for dinner at T-Bowl.
won't go there again cos the foods are not really good...hehe..
later on me n my sis went gurney to watch 'He's Just Not That Into You'
the movie is erm...ok i guess.
i like Alex(Justin Long) from the movie..i just like watching his part, even tho he has like a super low voice.
but the girl Gigi annoys me!!she's so i dunno, DESPERATE??!!
feel like slapping her..lol
then there's Janine, Ben and Anna (Jennifer Connelly, Bradley Cooper and Scarlett Johansson respectively).
is it just me or Scarlett Johansson looks so 'fat' to me..really..and she's like purposely flaunting her huge breast.blek...

PC Fair 2009

well i went to PC Fair which was held at KLCC last night with 5 of my coursemates.
we had our AI presentation at 10 in the morning n we wanted to leave early after presenting and so we told our lecturers (3 lecturers were evaluating us) that we had an interview!!lol..
they allowed us to leave early but because our documents is not complete, we have to finish it before we can cao..
so we went out around 1pm and yeah KL is SUPER DUPER JAMMED at tht time!!
wow..is real crazy the traffic over here...
to cut the story short, i've bought a new speaker and a headphone.
the speaker is RM69 but i got it at RM60.at 1st she wanted to sell to me at RM65 n i say 'I'm a student wor........student le.....'n so she ended up selling me at the price of RM60!!!hahah.
the same goes for the headphone.i bought 1 for myself and another for my friend.
the actual price are RM27 and RM17 and i bought them for RM38.
then me n my girl coursemate went shopping at KLCC while the guys continue their 'shopping' at pc fair..
we then went to mid valley to watch Fast n Furious but because everyone's really tired so we just went to Kim Gary for dinner and some shopping..
reached hostel around 10 something.
then the next day , which is today i had my last badminton class at 8.30 in the morning...
the coach gave us a quiz where most of our final questions will be from that quiz...
and here i am in my room writing this.....
sigh..everyone else has gone back home and me stil stuck in here cos there's one more presentation this coming wednesday....so damn stupid...
sighh...gotta study now...

i'm back HOME FINALLY!!!!!!
it has been 3 months since i last came back!!!!
every sem, i'm breaking new records....
1st year 1st sem --> i went back home every single week...
1st year 2nd sem --> because i'm getting sick of the bus and the time spent on the bus, i went back home like 2 weeks once...
2nd year 1st sem -->because i'm taking extra curricular this sem n is on sat, 2 months i went bk home once..
2nd year 2nd sem -->super super busy with assignments and projects, i came back once during CNY break and yesterday(19th March).actually i skipped a lot of classes just to came back this week.....
i can't stand anymore....
i miss home....
i miss my mum's cooking...
i miss my dog!!!!hahahaha
it felt so so so so goooood to be back home.....
seriously....(even tho i came back n stil have to finish uph a lot of assignments n projects...TT__TT)

shit!!!
i've already typed everything and was about to upload my pic and thn my com hang!!!

anyway haih...ok my graphic lecturer ask us to write any graphic as our 1st project.
yes, write.not draw.
and so to cut long story short, i ended up writing Keroro.i'm not a fans of keroro, nor have i ever watched it before.
i spent 3 days to write 580 lines of code of my keroro.
1st day : spent 10 hours ++ to draw only the head part.
2nd day : finished everything plus da background.
3rd day (today): some touch up on the background.
i'm officially done with it!!!
but 2nd project is coming!!!!ARGH!!!kau meng ar!!hehe..

Black Out!!!

is not the first time i'm experiencing black out here in ukm...
but a whole friggin 14 hours of it!!!!!
it started at 5 in the morning.i was sleeping and suddenly i felt so hot and dark.i left the light in the living room on every night so even tho I've closed my room door, i can still see a bit of light out there..
but then that night(or morning) i felt kinda suffocated.suddenly everything is pitch black.
and because the windows in my room are closed all the time, i felt really suffocating, but i don't dare to move!!!
imagine yourself in that room all alone (my roomate went back home).sigh...
anyway, i thought it'll be okay in a few minutes but NO!!!
the electricity did not came back til 7.30pm the next day!!!
stupid ukm!!!the stupidest uni in msia, in the world!!!
i felt like if i closed my eyes, i'll get sleep paralysis!!!
tho i've not had that in these few years but i was so scared..
then i heard my neighbours talkin n is time for their mornin prayers.
i somehow felt relieved hearing human voices!!lol
anyway, i didn't sleep til it was 7am when the day is getting brighter.
and so i slept til 1 something!!!hehehe...
i had assignments due the next day and because there's no current da whole day, i ended up reading 'The Time Traveller's Wife".i think the book is kindda overrated.
not my type of book.
anyhow the current came back at 7.30 pm. and u can hear everyone in the neighbourhood shout for joy(including ME!!!).
i quickly on my laptop n proceed with my assignments.
and then BLACK OUT AGAIN!!!!the electricity lasted for less than 2 hours!!!!
SIAO EHHH!!!
but then the electricity came back after half an hour i guess.
sigh...that's my longest and scariest black out i've ever experienced here in STUPID UKM!!!!

i just don't understand why such dense people exist.
is it my fate or why am i always meeting such dense people?
isn't it enough to torment me with people that are oblivious as to how they are torturing me with just their mere existence!!

here's another person that pisses me so so much by just a few minutes of being with her.
i really don't understand why you have to repeat every thing i said and makes them sound so funny.
seriously, i don't find anything so funny bout them!

well,today's my first presentation for this sem..
is not really a presentation.is just a forum with 10 of my group members and a lecturer at my fac's lecture hall.
wasn't really nervous about it cos there's no other audiences there.and we have practiced a couple of times before so everything's ok.
at the end of our forum, da lecturer gave a few comments.some good n some bad.
after that we went out to Balakong's Greenbox to 'Celebrate'.haha
all of us were wearing formal clothes!!
is my first time there, first time out with coursemates to sing, first time out with malays to Greenbox!!lol..
then we went n ate pizza hut..i really dont like pizza hut..domino's pizza are wayyyy better!!
gotta go sleep now......

there are endless assignments to be hand in, meetings with group members, with lecturers, projects for different courses that comes together!!, discussions, staying back at fac for all these...
this sem, almost everyday i only get to go back to my room after 5pm which is very unusual for me...
the previous sems, i always get to go bk around 1pm or latest 2pm..but now--->5pm..TT__TT
sigh....then mid sem are coming.....

ok i'm trying to update this as often as possible but i doubt i can do that..lol
classes as usual today...one word to describe them--->BORING
actually can go back after 2pm but meeting with my group project's lecturer at 3 and so stayed in the lab for an hour b4 meeting up wit her..
some changes in the proposal but everything's ok overall..
in that one hour, i manage to download ep.6 of Boys Before Flower which is the korean version of Hana Yori Dango..
so far so good, in fact is starting to grow on me the drama!!!
GOO JUN PYO!!!lol...
i've watched half of it and didnt get to finish watching cos me n my friends went to Cheras pasar malam..
and is realll long..is like triple the length of Batu Feringghi's pasar malam..
we were extremely hungry n so whn we reach there, we just buy whatever we feel like everything..
came back to hostel around 10pm..

well, it has been a month plus since i last updated...loads of things happened..some good n some bad....
let's start with something good first..
went down to spore for Christmas n new year...i stayed there for 2 weeks and i guess i've been to every part of spore..
the 2nd week i'm there, i've been wandering around spore alone from noon til 6 whr i meet up with my sister who's workin there..
my sis said even she has never been to so much places in spore in one day!!
to name a few : City Hall, Bugis, Raffles Place, Dhoby Ghaut, Clarke Quay, Outram PArk, HArbour Front, Orchard, Novena, Toa PAyoh, Bishan Ang Mo Kio, Expo, Jurong Point....
then..oh yeah on 31st dec nite, me my sis n charles we meet up at i think city hall and we had Japanese Buffet!!
it was really really delicious!!
they served sashimi, crab, lobster, the japanese steamboat, teppanyaki, deserts, teas, ice cream, and loads more...
we were there from 7 til 10 something...
ok, i'm starting to forget what happened in spore..lol
so, move on to my campus life which is literally my living hell here on earth..
sigh....dun feel like talking anything bout my camus life, my miserable life here...
lets fast forward to 17th Jan which is Pesta Ang Pow..
we had dinner like ppl getting married type of dinner(chiak tok) so there's 10 of us
i was sick that day n the day before and oso the days after so i guess that's one of the reason why i'm not enjoyin the dinner..
but seriously, the foods sucks, the performance sucks, the guest sucks. i don't even know who he is and his singin sucks!!!everything sucks!!!
compared to last yr, this year really SUCKS!!!
then after dinner we went out to Village View to celebrate ser in's which is my housemate bday.
and again because i'm feeling sick and my head is really killing me, i wasn't really into the mood of celebration.
but all in all, it was a successful celebration.
huey ling even sprained her leg..she's very prone to accidents especially when celebrating ppl's bday...
last yr i think it was mei hui's bday, she banged her head hard on the wall and she was crying!!!
sigh..hehe...
then there's today,20th Jan
my housemate's actual bday..
actually i tot her bday was tmr (21st)lol...
she had class from 8-10pm..so the rest of them came at 9 something and waited for her to come bk..but 10.20pm and she's stil hasn't reachyet and we started to get panic...
but she came back shortly after that, the 6 of them hide at the balcony thr
luckily she dint notice them and went to room n change...
i seriously can be an actress now..my acting skill was so good!!!hahaha
once she went in da room, the rest came out and i started to lit da candle and bring da cake n we waited for her right at the door....
she was surprised of cos.....
laughter and jokes fill the room....
2 hours has passed since then..n here i am writing my summary of thing that had happened in the past 1 month...
loads of things happened....
assingments and projects, endless assignments n projects that are killing me every day...
right after cny break there's 2 assignments to be hand in, 1 presentation, loads of meetings with lecturer..sigh....

well, i've been back for 3 weeks now and i'm starting to recognized my daily routine...
wake up, eat, watch tv, hit to da gym, eat, watch tv, online, sleep..
the next day, i'll repeat everything again..
is a very simple and boring life but i really don't mind it at all...
i rather be like this forever than to go back to kl..to my living hell here on earth...
after 1 1/2 years there, i stil cannot accept or get used to the life there...
is just plain bored and suffocating there.
especially all those freaky annoying human...
i truly believe that their sole existence is to pissed me off to the point that i can kill them or kill myself...
sigh....i really dont want to talk about this but since my days here in my beloved penang is numbered which literally means that i have to go back to kl and face all these devils that will be around me for 24/7, i can't stop myself to 'let it all out' here...
help me....i don't want to face them...i don't even want to talk with them but that's not possible...
i think living with them, my acting skills improved dramatically...
seriously...i can smile happily when deep down i'm extremely mad.

well yesterday was THE night as what LY said...
actually it is THE night for him...lol..but oh well..
he had a dance competition at Tanjung Bungah Beach Hotel last night.
me,KY,SK,YC,MT n his gf went and support him!!
we reached there around 7 something..saw LY in the restaurant but he didn't seem to noticed us...
his clothes are...well...cute..hahahaha
anyway, we went in and had a short talk with him..
then i saw this guy, Fernes or Felix or whatever his name is...
he is da guy that appeared for, i think citibank's commercial..
saw him once in Sunway's KFC before and Rachel was telling us who he is and that's why i recognized him..
then me,KY,SK went out and again KY being the cameragirl, started snapping pics non stop...
and some SS as well..lol
oh..n we saw Bernard..da Bernard from CTC camp....
he was all dressed up so we thought he was in the competition...but he's not....
he's just another cameraman i guessed...but he did danced in the 'show-you-can-dance' part...lol
then....yeuchi came..yueh yih was there as well....
the competition was held at 6th floor 'Ban...'something room...can't remember da name...
outside the reception area, photos...photos...and more photos again....(KY FASTER UPLOAD)kekeke
then we went in and the atmosphere is alright but is kinda small and the sound system is not so good....and the light!!!argh.....why the heck did they placed the light there!!!
anyhow, after 20 mins of sitting there and listening to the music, the event finally started...
some boring speeches by whoever whoever...
3 judges was there to evaluate the competition which are Fernes or Felix, Alex and Maxx(the founder of ultimaxx)
then the 1st dance by da 1st group..
the most colorful group for the night...
the dance was ok..not bad...
then is LY's group...
again the dance was cool..i think he did well and his members as well..
da 3rd group consists of Daniel Lee's bro n a Japanese guy in it...
the leader did a head spin but failed miserably..kaakka
he can't even spinned for 3 or 4 times...sigh...but his other dance are really cool...
next up is the BBoys battle...kinda boring and not very interesting...
then another BBoys battle is up...let's not talk about this...i didn't even watched it..super boring...
the competition resumed and omg....the next 4 groups are.....sigh...no comment...
lets just fast forward...erm...oh to the judges dance!!!!!
OMG!!!!!that was the CLIMAX of da night!!!!

at first i tot he can't really dance cos during the intro his dance are not so cool...

oh and Fernes or Felix, his dance are not that bad as well...
he has good face expression...so yeah....
in the end, LY's group got 2nd...and the 3rd group got 1st...da 1st group got 3rd...
after that we went down to Seawind...
this is the 1st time i'm there but not drinking beer...hahahah
i ordered Carrot milk!!!!
ar...everyone aroud us are drinking beer....
i sooooooo want to drink beer.....kakaakka
anyhow,that was another awesome night out with friends....

My random rambling

well..my first time blogging here.
really dunno what to talk about so i'll start with what happened last night since it's still fresh in my memory.
was checking my mails when SK called me and asked me out to celebrate ah hoong's bday.
they came in less than 10 mins i guess..that was real real fast..lol
so we go round n round trying to find any bakery that's stil opened..
from pulau tikus down to komtar but we couldn't find any...
eventually we ended up in new world park.
stop there n decided to celebrate it there.
KY suggested LIO'Z and went to Starbucks to buy a 'mini' cake for KH...lol
then the bday boy came with his 'friend'..
sat down and chat for a while...
but the 'friend' need to go back so he fetched her home and came back after 12.
while waiting KY was snapping photo non-stop...
all our foods and drinks need to obtained OC from her before we can proceed to eat them...
anyhow, the bday boy came back and LY went n get the cake and ask the band to sing bday song while he bring the cake over.
luckily KH never expected the lil bday celebration we had for him..
so he was surprised...YAY~!!!hehehe
and again photos are taken by our camera girl...
then we left around 1am and dropped SK back while the four of us proceed to our next destination..
which is gurney drive...sat there, talk, drink, and someone is dancing..
the guys seems to be a bit drunk and let KY drive...
i think we had a tour of penang that night..haha..real crazy..
the journey ended by dropping KY back, then LY and lastly me by da bday boy...
so that's 3rd Dec 2008...
a not-so-typical but had a very familiar feeling kinda night...
with all these close, 11 and stil going years of friendship's friends, i enjoyed every moment of it....
